Love these boots- Actually I love them so much I bought them in all three colours! It was so nice not having to 'wear them in' and go through that awful blister faze. Great if you have wide flat feet like me. Perfect height to keep your skirt off the ground, look stylish and still have your feet in working order at the end of the day of a long day.

I've had a pair of these in brown that have been fantastic but they didn't go with my new black skirt so I ordered the black pair, knowing already that they were going to be perfect. Love the zip up the side - makes getting in and out of them sooo much easier than battling with laces all the time

Love this boot. The heel wasn't as high as I thought it would be, or as it seems to be in the picture, so I can walk around in this boot all day without my feet hurting. My students LOVE this boot too, they usually try and find any excuse to wear it :)

Q: What is the Victorian boot made of? Leather? Polyurethane?

A: They are made of man made materials

Q: is there any padding at the bottom? how comfortable are they?

A: The padding is minimal, however, the boots are comfortable.

Q: How do these boots run in terms of sizing? I've gotten some from elsewhere that ran small and I needed to go up a size.

A: The boots run true to size, however, we have whole sizes only, so we suggest going up in size.

Q: Would these boots accommodate a larger calf and look appropriate if worn with thicker legs? I personally find when I try to wear a high-calf boot I am bulging out of them.Thank youJennifer - Iowa

A: The top of the boot measures approximately 11 inches around.

Q: What color are the metal grommets on the black victorian boot?

    A: The grommets are gold.

Q: I'm from outside the U.S and was wondering what shoe size would be best for me. My feet are about 9.5-10 inches long and are a wider than average. Thanks

A: Shoe size conversion tables are available online.

Q: Is there we size 12?

A: They are offered in size 6-12.

    What size should I order?

Most people find that our sizing runs generously. If you are undecided with which size to order, it is best to order the smaller size, or give us a call to assist you (1-800-452-5925). You may also email us at sales@recollections.biz with your measurements (bust and waist) and we can help you choose the nearest size.

An exception to the generous sizing is the type of ball gown that requires boning in the bodice and that supports a heavy skirt. Many times this style is also "off-the-shoulder" and requires a firm fit to stay up. These styles tend to not run as generously as most of our other garments because of this. But please, give us a call if you are uncertain.

In most cases you should take your bust and waist measurement to determine your size. Please wear the undergarments that you intend to wear when you do your measuring. For example, take your measurement over the type of brassiere or corset that you may be wearing.

Measure the fullest part of your bust around and the smallest part of your waist.
