Most people find that our sizing runs generously. If you are undecided with which size to order, it is best to order the smaller size. Additionally, you may add your measurements (bust and waist) at check out and we can help you choose the nearest size.
An exception to the generous sizing is the type of ball gown that requires boning in the bodice and that supports a heavy skirt. Many times this style is also "off-the-shoulder" and requires a firm fit to stay up. These styles tend to not run as generously as most of our other garments because of this.
In most cases you should take your bust and waist measurement to determine your size. Please wear the undergarments that you intend to wear when you do your measuring. For example, take your measurement over the type of brassiere or corset that you may be wearing.
Measure the fullest part of your bust around and the smallest part of your waist.

I love these boots. My husband bought me them last year and I wear them all the time. They, obviously, complete the look for all my Victorian outfits, but they go really well with a dress or a pair of leggings. They are really comfortable, I wore them while walking in a mile long parade. After a day of wearing them they do start to pinch a little in the toes, but I have really wide feet and normally only wear flat shoes, so it could just be me. I love wearing them and get compliments on them all the time. Definitely high quality and worth the price. They are my favorite shoes in my collection for sure!

Even though I have had surgeries on both my feet,I can not wear high heels without pain. Since I do historical presentations in 1900's dresses, I decided to buy these lovely ankle boots. I can move about or stand in these all day and my feet are just fine. What a miracle! My other alternative was to wear black gym shoes which aren't exactly period perfect. I am so glad that I gave these a try.
