For a very full skirt look, use this extra full crinoline! Use instead of a hoop and get the same look without the bones of the hoop showing through. Layers of ruffled netting are under the white nylon overskirt. Drawstring waist. One size. There is also an underlining of white nylon so that the netting is not against the legs. Hand wash and hang to dry. Made in the USA. Mindy is wearing a lace trimmed cotton dress and striped stockings and they are priced separately.

Light and Full, but Noisy and too long
I had to shorten the outer nylon satin layer of this petticoat to keep it from peeking beneath my floor length skirt (one of the Dickens ones), but the fullness is heavenly! You will take up normal doorways and hallways, but it can be squished, so it's possible for others to get by, in a pinch. I also introduced a cotton layer between the nylon and the first layer of tulle beneath, as I found it hushed some of the noises I made when I had to lift of my skirts to climb stairs. (Before, I felt like it had a brown paper sort of rustle.) The petticoat comes from Love Two Slips, who make an entire linen of undergarments, and this one is definitely the right choice for a Victorian silhouette. It's light and easy to refluff by adjusting the layers of tulle, and the inner nylon satin layer keeps the scratchy tulle from your skin. However, I'm planning on wrapping the raw ends of tulle in a organdy ruffle, so that when I lift my skirts, there is a more period correct look shown, hiding the raw tulle, but this might also be corrected some by wearing one of the Recollections petticoats.

    Perfect for plus size
I have a 52 inch waist and there is room to spare on this crinoline. It has a perfect drawstring waist. Cinch it up in the front and moving around is a breeze. I could NOT find a hoop skirt to fit, so although the full crinoline is not as breezy, it still makes my dresses look great.

    suits me to a T.
If your curves and personal style doesn't really accommodate a hoopŁ skirt this crinoline makes a good substitute. If you are tall I suggest the longer length to prevent that break in the lines of the skirt. The net layers are resilient and the lace and flounce are well constructed. The draw string waist allows an acceptable fit in the plus sizes. I wear it inside out so the net is not next to my skin, especially if I do not wear the long pantaloons. I"ll give it a five because it suits my needs to a "T"
