Most people find that our sizing runs generously. If you are undecided with which size to order, it is best to order the smaller size. Additionally, you may add your measurements (bust and waist) at check out and we can help you choose the nearest size.
An exception to the generous sizing is the type of ball gown that requires boning in the bodice and that supports a heavy skirt. Many times this style is also "off-the-shoulder" and requires a firm fit to stay up. These styles tend to not run as generously as most of our other garments because of this.
In most cases you should take your bust and waist measurement to determine your size. Please wear the undergarments that you intend to wear when you do your measuring. For example, take your measurement over the type of brassiere or corset that you may be wearing.
Measure the fullest part of your bust around and the smallest part of your waist.

A Victorian fanciful extraordinarily detailed top and skirt! The top features an open square neckline with dotted net yokes in the front and back. The peplum is in the same black dotted net and is gathered to the bodice from side-center, becoming longer in the back. Vertical rows of black braid emphasize the curvy cut of the jacket. Sheer dotted net sleeves are elbow length, finished with the same lace ruffle, and vertically trimmed in alternating black wide and narrow lace. A long row of taffeta covered buttons close the front. The columnar skirt is effusively decorated, in the Victorian manner, with rows and rows of ruffled lace, net rosette, braid, and beaded fringe. Very detailed 19th century style. Polyester taffeta and lace. Dry clean. Liesa is wearing a crinoline under her skirt, gloves, choker, earrings and boots and they are priced separately. Recollections clothing is proudly made in America by American women!
The crisp iridescent taffeta is offered in these colors: lime with a turquoise cross weave (Aquamarine), burgundy with a peacock cross weave (Wisteria), rust with a gold cross weave (Goldenrod), jade with a burgundy cross weave (Chocolate Mint), and black with a royal cross weave (Blackberry).
