The Recollections Style Gallery that the wonderful folks over at 216digital created for us, gives us an opportunity to see our customers in our clothes, and it gives you an opportunity to see what the Recollections wardrobe looks like on others. We’ve loved seeing your pictures on the Style Gallery, and we’re happy that we’ve been able to outfit so many of you in clothes of days gone by. So, we’ve looked through our Gallery and chosen our favorite pictures from each style we feature to highlight in our blog post.

Because the Victorian Era spans so much time, we have several features for this era. From the Early Victorian Era, we chose Dawn B, wearing the Calico Dress. In the photo below, she is pictured second from the left, and looks demure and sweet in the light blue gown. For the mid-Victorian Era, we chose Teresa M wearing the Noelle Dress. She’s taken a steampunk spin on a classic design, and we love her creativity! Finally, for the Bustle in the late Victorian Era, we chose Mary H wearing our crinoline and bustle in black.

For the Civil War Era, we chose Debbie T in the Lasalle Ensemble. The colors of her dress really pop and we love how bright it is! For Pioneer Women, we chose Debbie T in the Calico Lace dress, which is second from the left in the photo below. The lace and buttons are sweet and simple, everything a pioneer dress should be. For the Old West, we chose the Dixie Saloon Dress worn by Corilyn H, because who can deny that a saloon girl is the most recognizable sign of the West?

Moving into the 1900’s, we chose Marianne D in the Jewell Ensemble for the Edwardian Era. She looks like she came straight out of the movie “Somewhere in Time,” in the picture taken at Mackinaw Island. And finally, for the 1950’s Retro era, we chose Sandra R in the Sonya dress.
