Welcome to our Wedding Style Gallery. This is the place to see photos of brides and bridal parties wearing Recollections fashions. Our brides are as beautiful and diverse as the dresses and gowns they choose for their wedding. Our bridal section features fashions from the Regency, Victorian, and Edwardian eras. We also have Roaring 20s and 1950s Retro dresses appropriate for brides, bridesmaids, and mothers.

The Victorian era is the most popular era for weddings. It’s no wonder why! Full, flowing gowns fill many little girls’ dreams when they think of this most important day of their lives. We’re so happy to be able to help celebrate these historic moments in time.

This style gallery is filled with gowns with trains and dresses with bustles. Our brides are formal, informal, and everything in between. The Old West sports some fanciful fun and the Old South lends an air of formality and refinement. Edwardian weddings are elegant affairs.  Our garments are at home at an outdoor Pioneer wedding and an indoor Civil War nuptial ceremony.

Our brides ride in carriages – with and without horses. One even rides a bicycle. What fun! White may rule the day but our brides aren’t afraid to add a little color. Queen Victorian ushered in the era of the white wedding gown but it wasn’t unusual for nineteenth-century brides to wear their best dress when marrying.

We thank you for your willingness to share one of the happiest days of your life with us! We imagine each bride wearing what we make for them. We daydream about the ceremony, what the groom looks like, where it takes place, who might be attending. When we see you wearing your Recollections wedding dress, it brings the event home and we feel like one of the family. We appreciate being part of your big day!
