Dear Ladies at Recollections,

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Walda and I live in The Netherlands.

As a young girl I loved classical ballet and historical films with princesses in beautiful outfits. When I was au pair in London I saved some money to have taken my first picture in period clothing. It felt great!

Back in Holland I studied art history at University and became a member of a court dancing company. For ten years I danced walses and polkas and allemandes in rococo and biedermeier costumes; I have always known I was born in the wrong century!

Now, I'm a mother of two beautiful girls and we live in a late 19th century house. Especially for Father's Day I asked a portrait photographer to take this picture. Here I'm wearing my first ensemble from Recollections. I have ordered some more now and I can't get enough of it. I adore your outfits and so do my daughters!  If possible, I would wear them every day.
