Victorian ball gowns had a style that was all their own. The fashion of the time period was constantly changing, and several designs emerged and took hold. This elegant off-the shoulder ball gown is similar to the style around the year 1855. This gown has fitted and boned bodice with off-the shoulder neckline shawl collar and full elbow length sleeves. The overskirt becomes progressively longer in the back, creating an eye-catching train. Trimmed in ruffled lace, it is shirred at intervals and finished with a beautiful satin bow and button trim. The underskirt, of cotton, is separate, and has an elastic waist for your added comfort. A striking, wide calico shirring finishes the hemline. Proudly made in the US by Recollections.
Dry clean. Cotton with acetate satin bows. The models complete the look with a ruffled hoop, boots, jewelry, gloves and hat and they are available priced separately.
