Your dream of the perfect ball gown comes true! Divine Victorian historical design has open square neckline and long v-shaped bodice with the eye-catching "criss-cross" effect -perfect for an evening dinner or dance with friends! The fancy dress is further embellished with fabric ruching and braid. The beautiful dupioni is paired with the rich satin center front insert and underskirt. The overskirt can be bustled in back or tied up at the sides, creating a pannier effect. Wide ruffled lace trims the underskirt and delicately trimmed sleeves. Truly exquisite! Poly dupioni and acetate satin. Dry clean. The model is wearing an extra full crinoline underneath, and the dress is full enough to accommodate a hoop as well, which would give a more antebellum look to the gown. The crinoline, the boots, gloves, fan, and jewelry are all priced separately. Recollections clothing is made in America.

Q: What is the time period for this dress?
A: This dress could be considered the Victorian Era.
Q: What would you suggest for the back enclosure? We do a lot of dancing but I don't really want the zipper to be noticeable. Thank you!
A: Either closure will work, you really don't see them.
Q: How does the color selection work? can you request a different shade for the satin insert?
A: The color selection is for the top. The satin is offered in white or ivory only.
Q: Is it possible to create this dress (Angelica Victorian - 80951R) in reversed colors: dark blue dress and white over dress?Thank you!
A: Yes, we can reverse the fabric for the top and skirt. The trim and insert would be either white or black. There would be an additional cost of $20.00
Q: Would it be possible to get about 3 yards or so of the lace from the Angellica dress to make a bridal veil to match?
A: Yes, you could purchase the lace. Would have to get a price for you. If you already have the dress, it may be hard to match as our lace can change.

Most people find that our sizing runs generously. If you are undecided with which size to order, it is best to order the smaller size, or give us a call to assist you (1-800-452-5925). You may also email us at email@example.com with your measurements (bust and waist) and we can help you choose the nearest size.
An exception to the generous sizing is the type of ball gown that requires boning in the bodice and that supports a heavy skirt. Many times this style is also "off-the-shoulder" and requires a firm fit to stay up. These styles tend to not run as generously as most of our other garments because of this. But please, give us a call if you are uncertain.
In most cases you should take your bust and waist measurement to determine your size. Please wear the undergarments that you intend to wear when you do your measuring. For example, take your measurement over the type of brassiere or corset that you may be wearing.
Measure the fullest part of your bust around and the smallest part of your waist.
