We thought you might enjoy seeing a photo of our daughter in her dress at
Stuhr Museum's Christmas Past and Present event. Her job was to invite
guests to "help her decorate the goose feather tree." She isn't officially
a Living History Apprentice youth volunteer yet, so we weren't expecting her
to be involved in this five-day event. Much to her delight, she was put in
at the last minute, but her summer prairie play dress just wasn't quite
elegant enough. Fortunately, we found your website!
Many thanks to all who went above and beyond to make it possible for her to
look period appropriate and so very festive. The dress received many
compliments, and you all brought immeasurable joy to a little girl's heart,
and a Christmas memory she and her family will always treasure.
