"Hi to All at Recollections!

I don't know whether these pics are good enough quality for you to consider for your new Gallery.  I don't have a digital camera; I took these shots using a tripod and the 10-second timer on my 1971 Canon camera and they were scanned to a CD.

This is the greatest outfit! I wear it volunteering at the Scadding Cabin, a historical site (Toronto's oldest surviving house), and have had so many compliments and questions about this outfit. I've worn it to a dixieland jazz band event as well! Even when I was out taking these pictures, strangers accosted me to say what a great outfit it is and to ask where I got it. I'm led to believe there's a bit of wistful/wishful thinking going on out there, that a number of women react positively to this look and would secretly like to still dress like this -- at least, some of the time! People have asked if it's uncomfortable or awkward when I have this on and I say not at all -- I even go through the turnstiles on the subway without incident, thanks to your flexible hoops!

Even if you can't use these pics, I hope they convey something of my deep appreciation for your excellent work and for the loveliness, durability, and quality of your wonderful historical outfits, and the enjoyment I've gotten out of wearing them. Also my thanks to everyone for their helpfulness in answering my questions!

This is your Calico outfit 3523-24, with the 4-bone hoop and white cotton (under)skirt 60752."
