Susan and Sydney
Susan has been employed at Recollections for four years. She has recently taken on the responsibilities as the Administration Manager overseeing shipping, quality control, accounting, and purchasing.
She is married and has one son and one daughter. They are truly an outdoorsy family! Her husband and in-laws raise buffalo and elk on a large farm, and the whole family enjoys snowmobiling, horseback riding, and hunting bear and deer. She also enjoys singing and making crafts. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with family. She is thankful that she and her husband are able to raise their children in Northern Michigan, near family, where they themselves grew up. Her goal is to raise her children well and be able to send them to college. She appreciates what’s important in life, family.
Susan says that she learns something new every day at Recollections. She is able to work under pressure and likes meeting deadline challenges and accomplishing all work-related tasks. She especially enjoys helping customers plan for their many events. She has worked with people on Edwardian teas, town celebrations, weddings, book covers, theater productions, balls, historical reenactments, theme park costuming, and museum events.
She says that she achieves self-confidence every day from successfully helping customers meet their needs.
