Meet Sara, in her own words:

“Well lets see, I have two children 17 year old girl and 12 year old son, I am very proud of them. They make me smile all the time. My daughter wants to study zoology and my son is very interested in science. They are truly the center of my life.  In my spare time I love to spend time with family. I also spend time painting and drawing. Gardening is a passion with me, and I am looking forward to getting my hands dirty on the acre of land I have. I enjoy working on the computer and I love to watch all the new animated movies!

I lived in Quebec for 11 years working and learning in French. It was a wonderful place to live and I learned a lot.  Leaving many good friends behind I decided to get back to my roots and moved back to this little place, buying a home that I am refurbishing with the help of wonderful friends and family. I have great respect for my mother and step father. Without them nothing is possible.

I have a dog, Rocky, he is everything to me also. He moved here with me from Quebec... he slept the whole way as we drove across Canada.  He had cataracts at 8 months old and was blind. Being blind for a couple of months has made him into a incredible companion - he kept me company and makes me laugh.  I love to train and work with animals. I run a small walking/ sitting business.

I love working at Recollections. The relaxed, family atmosphere is a welcome change from a lot of places. It amazes me that this little town of Hawks is world known. Marianne's designs blow my mind away. I sit and think:  if I could wear one for just a little bit! Being the newest person here, all the ladies have taken me in and treated me as part of the family. It is a wonderful team that works here. I love the creative atmosphere. It is truly a joy to get up and come to work in the morning. I look forward to it everyday!

Talking with the customers is wonderful. Everyone I talk to has interesting stories. It is wonderful to hear all the happy voices on the other end of the line."
