Mindy
Mindy has been modeling for Recollections for over seven years. Looking at her photographs, one would think that she is a beautiful lady from the Victorian, Edwardian, or American pioneer periods – she has just the right look! She has traveled throughout Michigan and California modeling in fashion shows and photographic shoots.
She is married and has two sons and a daughter, Brittany, who is also a model for Recollections. They have a beloved family dog Boom-Boom who is a boxer. Mindy enjoys bike riding, photography, gardening, and all outdoor activities. She says that people might not know it, but she really is a true tomboy! She loves to hunt and fish as often as possible. Mindy also enjoys singing hymns with family and friends. She is most proud of her three children who she says have grown up to be good people.
Mindy enjoys the family-oriented atmosphere of working at Recollections. She says that everyone is understanding and employees are treated very well. She adds that the one surprising thing about modeling is the way she is treated by gentlemen when dressed in period apparel. Men seem to be notably more courteous and respectful when she and the other models are in gowns of the past. Mindy also says the best thing about modeling for Recollections is being able to wear all of the beautiful, ornate dresses. It’s like being in a fairytale and makes her feel like Cinderella every time she tries on a new design – this is every girl’s dream.
