Kristie
Kristie has been a Recollections model for over three years. One can’t help but think of Anne of Green Gables when looking at her dressed in Victorian clothing. Her beautiful auburn hair and fair skin emanate the spirit of the historic heroine. She says it feels like she steps back in time each time she wears a Recollections gown. Kristie’s favorite modeling location is Mackinac Island. She loves the horse pulled carriages, the stately Grand Hotel, and the ambiance and grace of the era portrayed.
Kristie is a newlywed! She and her husband own a large, 100-year-old farm house. They enjoy working on it together and making plans for future updating. She is a genuine outdoorsy girl too! She hunts deer and bear, rides horses, and likes to go fishing and camping as well. Kristie also likes oil painting, making crafts, and reading books by Sylvia Brown. She enjoys the changing seasons of Northern Michigan, especially autumn.
Fascinated with the fact the her photos, and Recollections products, obtain world-wide exposure from the little town of Hawks, Michigan, Kristie feels honored to be a part of it all. She says, our town doesn’t even have a traffic light, but we get calls from around the world – it really is amazing!
