Jennifer, Seamstress

Jennifer has performed as a seamstress at Recollections since 2007.  She was promoted to a supervisor at the beginning of 2008. Her many duties in addition to sewing include training other seamstresses, and making decisions about job assignments.  She had no sewing experience prior to working at Recollections, but says she quickly learned the trade thanks to the help of the “big-hearted people” she works with.  She has always been told that she’s a good leader, and she puts that talent to use every day at Recollections.

In September of 2011, she started her own sewing business, “Green Valley Sewing”, and she continues to sew for Recollections as her primary client.

One of Jennifer’s hobbies is politics!  She has always been interested in local, state, and national elections and offices.  She also is intrigued with the attitudes and attributes of American patriots.  We can look forward to seeing her name on local campaign signs!

Jennifer is married and has one son, one daughter, and two dogs.  They enjoy spending time together and making each other laugh.  She is proud of the home she and her husband have made together and hopes to send her children to college someday.

Jennifer says that her job at Recollections is the best job she ever had.  She enjoys being employed by a business that brings out the best in every employee and is a model of possibility for all girls and women!
