Dianne has worked as a seamstress and trainer at Recollections for seven years.  She is our skirt specialist!  She expertly sews the “fanciest” skirts and kindly teaches other seamstresses how to do the same.

Dianne and her husband of 37 years have five grown children and two grandchildren - they are very proud of them all.  Dianne enjoys playing Scrabble, Yahtzee, and working on puzzles with her family.  She also likes reading to her grandchildren and taking them to the library - just like she did with her children when they were young.

You won’t find Dianne sitting around watching television; it puts her to sleep!  She spends her free time sewing beautiful children’s quilts, baking loaves of old-fashioned, homemade bread, reading mysteries, and collecting cookie jars, spools, toys, and Legos.

Not only is Dianne a talented seamstress, mom, grandmother, and busy hobbyist, she is a good friend too.  A soft-spoken, kind, good listener, people turn to Dianne when they need to talk.  She respects all people and sees something special in everyone.

Dianne says she likes working at Recollections because of the friendly crew and the satisfaction she receives from collaborating with other seamstresses to make beautiful outfits for customers’ special occasions.  She enjoys her family, friends, and work every day.
