Brittany
Brittany has been working for Recollections as a customer service representative and fashion show model for the past seven years. As a customer service representative she is responsible for answering phones, addressing and invoicing email orders, and assisting customers. When modeling historically inspired gowns, Brittany easily assumes the persona of a pretty, bright young woman from the past.
Brittany is also a talented singer, plays the piano, and is interested in interior design. She has performed vocally at Disney World and at Michigan’s famous Blue Lakes Fine Arts Academy. She enjoys performing the most with her family. Her brothers, along with her grandpa and aunt, play guitars, and they all sing along together. She is proud of earning her associate’s degree while working nearly full time. In the future, she hopes to open her own accounting firm and looks forward to having her own family someday too.
Britt, as everyone calls her, enjoys working with all of the women at Recollections, helping customers with special occasions, and reading thank-you notes sent along with client photos. She recently appeared in a fashion show at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. She said that the audience “oooed and “ahhed” at the garments the Recollections models wore and it was so exciting to elicit that kind of response! She says she felt like a princess modeling her favorite blue silk, flowing gown with the matching feathered hat. It’s an experience she’ll cherish forever.
