Athena, Customer Service

Here is Athena, who has been with Recollections in the Customer Service department since March of 2011. She is friendly and outgoing, and says there are many things she loves about her job. Athena loves the “family type” work environment, where everyone is supportive and cares for each other. She also says she enjoys the challenge when the shop is “crazy with paperwork’.

Athena loves learning new things. She especially loves the hats that are made at Recollections and says, “…they are my favorite thing!” She also loves to read and bake – although she does not get to do as much baking as she would like. She lives in northern Michigan with her husband and best friend Chris, their two sons and one daughter. A St. Bernard named Ernie rounds out the family.

When asked if there was anything she would like to share with Recollection’s clients, she told us she is proud of where she works. The owner and management make customer service a priority, the items made are just beautiful, and the creativity is inspiring!
